If you post movies with fake links or post fake links in movies already posted you will be banned and all further accounts you make if found out will be banned as well. If you don't want to risk it then don't do anything stupid that'll get you banned to begin with.

Advertising other sites

For anyone caught advertising other sites in comments, if you're lucky you might get a warning otherwise it could end up being an instant ban as we don't allow other sites being advertised on this site.

New server / Fixes

iPodMovie.info has successfully completed our server move.

We also fixed the issue with non English film titles. From now on, movies added will have English titles.

Megaupload Shut Down

Hello iPodMovie users. If you don't already know, megaupload.com has been shut down by the FBI (Full article with information: http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/19/federal-prosecutors-shut-down-megaupload-file-sharing-site-foun/ ) . Megaupload was the site where all of our movies were hosted, so currently we don't have many links available to download. The staff is currently working on a workaround for this and will hopefully fix this problem promptly. Please be patient with us, we will update you when we've made an advancement. If you have comments or suggestions you can visit iModZone.net and get in contact with a mod or admin.

Allowed formats & Hosts

The following formats are allowed to be posted mp4/m4v as they are compatible with idevices. Any other formats (rar,exe,avi,ect.) are not allowed and could get you banned if posted. If a poster adds a movie in m4v format do not complain as it only makes people less likely to post movies in the future. The only site allowed to be posted is megaupload/megavideo and links for other sites will get you banned. For the intelligence impaired (Dcfan and any other names he comes up with as well as others like him) if you post links other than those allowed you can and most likely will be banned. Rebeldawg

If anyone wants to earn credits without posting movies or donating then hunt down any money (hotfile, uploading, ect.) making links that have been posted and go to imodzone and pm me the name(s) of the movie that the links are under and I will give 1 credit per reported link(s) from my account and add it to the user's account. Hello everyone,

I just wanted to update you on the changes I have been making to the website.

• Movie image grabbing from IMDB has been fixed.
• Multiple movie posting (by accident) should be fixed. The submit button is disabled after the first click to prevent it.
• Password resetting is fixed.

Hello everyone,
I know that there is a bug with the new updated application. If you are having problems using the app, as a temporary fix I recommend visiting ipodmovie.info in the safari browser. You can then view downloaded movies in dTunes. There will be an update to the app soon that will fix problems some users have been having. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

On another note, I have noticed more and more users are posting requests in the comments section. This is against the rules, and users will be banned from making future comments if they break this rule. I understand that users are unable to post movie requests from the iPhone site, and I am working on a solution. I have been busy with another project recently, and you will see the result of it in the near future. As of now, I will be working to make improvements to iPodMovie.info. Bug Fix and update

Hello Everyone,
I have been very busy in the past few weeks, however it came to my attention that all new movies added had no release date. I have since changed my code, and release dates are working again (for movies added from now on).

I have also noticed that since hackulo.us released a new version of Installulous, users have been having problems downloading movies. If you are having problems, simply install "safari download plugin" from cydia.

With this new update, there are a few things I would like to change on the site, mostly dealing with comments.
1. No posting comments asking what the movie quality is. If others have used it before you, there should be quality ratings on the link.
2. Be polite, everyone wants a friendly community.
3. Rate the movies. If you watched a movie, go back and rate it. It helps everyone else out.
4. No spamming. Comments are there to help others, not be distracting, or annoying. Post if you have something helpful to say.
5. No posting 'It doesn't work' or similar comments, instead, please use the report link button.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to update you on the site's progress. I am continuously working on an improved version of this site. I estimate it is approximately 95% done. As I have said before, It will be released to VIP members 1 month before regular members. The mobile design has been greatly improved, and many other enhancements have been made. I will start posting some screenshots in the near future.

Some of you may have also noticed some of the new ads that are being displayed. If you have not noticed them, its likely you are a VIP member (VIP's do not see any advertisements). We are testing out google ads to help maintain the site. Relying purely on donations is working right now, but donation's are dropping. So as an alternative we are displaying ads.

Hey everyone,
It's Halloween night, and I hope you all are out enjoying yourselves. This weekend enjoy unlimited link credits, and a Halloween theme. This event will end Monday.

Another reason for posting this is to inform you of the upcoming changes to the site. Its a work in progress, and I thought I would let you in on some of my plans. iPodMovie.info is being redesigned. I plan on including some of the most requested features in an upcoming update. In addition to the all new link rating system, it will also include many new options. The movie display has been optimized for faster loading, and it displays more information about the film. The search page has also been upgraded allowing users to search by genre, and order the results however you may like. It's really nice, and so far everything looks good! Premium members should expect it within a month, and normal members within two. however alot of work still needs to be done.

Hey everyone! iPodMovie.info is back online with a great new server! We should be able to stay fast and online, even during the busiest parts of the day! This is a big improvement from the old server, and you will really feel the performance boost!

I want to thank everyone again for their patience while we transferred the site, and to say sorry for the downtime, we are giving unlimited link credits until this Sunday the 20th.

Much needed update!

Today I updated the site with a feature many of you asked for. Now when you visit a link, it will take one credit, however if for some reason the movie doesn't download completely, or you need to revisit the link, you can do so within one day, and no extra link credits will be used. You can even try a different link from the same movie, and no more credits will be used. Let me know what you think, I'm always open to suggestions.
